Beth Creel |
With over 20 years of experience teaching and directing theatre of all levels, Beth Creel has directed or designed over 300 productions. As a former director of College Station Theatre, Beth found a passion for integrating powerful staging, creative technical design and love of storytelling. Currently, she serves as Assistant Principal for both Pecan Trail and Oakwood Intermediates in College Station ISD. While she advocates for all fine arts on her campuses, she continues to serve theatre educators through working on the TxETA Schools of Distinction committee. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Theatre Studies with a minor in Education, and a Masters of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University. In 2016, Mrs. Creel was awarded the Texas Thespians Alma Slawinski Leadership award for promoting theatre arts in public education.

Roy Rodriguez |
Roy is the current Director of Pecan Trail Intermediate Theatre in College Station. Before his current position, Roy served as the Technical Theatre Director and Director of Speech and Debate at A&M Consolidated High School. Roy started his college career at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where he earned an acting scholarship. He was trained in improv with the Peoples Improv (The PIT)- New York, where he later became an instructor. Roy has an impressive record of awards, including the 2001 4A UIL One Act Play State Championship for Gregory-Portland High School's production of "Over the River and Through the Woods." Additionally, Roy's campus has earned TxETA Exemplary Elementary School of Distinction award. He has received extensive training in New York from Broadway Teachers Workshop & the iTheatrics Teaching Intensive, where he became one of their first Level 2 Certified Educators/Directors. Roy is a member of the "Connected Arts Network” (CAN) through the US Department of Education, where the goal is to strengthen theatre pedagogy, instruction, and leadership skills to better serve theatre students. Roy has the honor of serving UIL as a State Contest Director (CX Debate) and an OAP Contest Manager and Area/Region Adjudicator. He has been featured on National Radio as a guest performer on the hit kids podcast. "SMASH BOOM BEST” and on television in the Season 6 Finale of ABC’s “The $100,000 Pyramid”.
